AnthroDesk Standing Desk Converter Review

Posted on March 10, 2020June 5, 2020 by Erika Scott

I partnered up with Anthrodesk.ca and received this AnthroDesk Standing Desk Converter in Cherry for free to use and review, in exchange for my honest opinions on the product.

In September we made the decision to homeschool the kids, going from strictly public schooling to homeschooling was a huge leap. To make the transition less shocking for everyone, we made the choice to do Teacher-Directed schooling. This means the kids are required to hand in envelope assignments to their teachers. Also, they’ve got optional live sessions online with their teachers in the mornings Monday to Thursday. Which I insist they participate in. This standing desk has been a lifesaver for reducing back pain and helping the kids improve their posture while on their live sessions.

It’s also been really great for me when I want to get some blogging done.

I’ve been making small lifestyle changes to get us into a healthier lifestyle over the last few years. I give the kids more vegetables, smaller portions, we all have added more movement into our lives. (I use my Fitbit to keep track of my steps.)

However, when I’m blogging I always tend to be sitting a lot. Which causes me back pain and if I’m being honest bad posture. This adjustable desk gives me the option to easily adjust the desk to either a sit or standing position quickly. Making me more productive with my writing and limiting the amount of time I’m sitting down. If at any point I want to sit down, I can easily snap the clips and adjust.

AnthroDesk Standing Desk Converter just out of the box.

Not only is this sit-stand desk riser in dark cherry appealing to the eyes, but it’s also lightweight enough to move if required. The building process was super simple. There’s a total of five steps and it only took about 15 minutes to assemble together the seven pieces. That including a toddler interrupting 😛

This AnthroDesk standing desk has made a huge difference in our household.

Zaden using The AnthroDesk Standing Desk Converter to do his live sessions for school.

Especially for my son who is always on the go and doesn’t like sitting in one spot. Making him sit just made him upset and unfocused not paying attention to his online sessions. Now he’s able to stand and focus more on his lessons thanks to the AnthroDesk Standing Desk Converter.

If you’re looking to reduce your sitting time and improve your productivity and posture this is the perfect product for you. I’m so grateful that I was given the opportunity to review this standing desk, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
