Happy 75th anniversary Dairy Queen! As a mom that’s trying to stretch her dollars, I think it’s awesome that you decided to celebrate by giving all of your customers each a free ice cream cone today. So I did what what any mom would do when there’s free ice cream, we headed down to the closest DQ lol. The kids were so excited waiting for their ice cream, they had nothing but smiles. Especially Emilee who just recently discovered that Dairy Queen has ice cream, and they all did extremely well being patient proud mom right here.
I love the Dairy Queen that’s near our house. They’ve always done an amazing jobs on the kids ice cream birthday cakes in the past, making the icing designs always look awesome.
Most fast-food restaurants when you go on a day that they say you are able to receive something free, they skimp out giving you the bare minimum. I’m happy to say that’s not the case at our local Dairy Queen. All three of the kids got very good size small cones, including my mom and I. It was a delicious treat, that made the kids extremely happy and it didn’t cost us anything.One of my favourite things that the kids said after they got their ice cream was “This is the best day ever.”
