I’m feeling so hopeless…
My kids have been coughing for over a month now, with K it’s more often when she runs or pushes herself too much. The doctor prescribed her with a inhaler that I am giving her 4 x a day, and because it’s been over a month we went back to the doctor and he prescribed another inhaler which I have to give to her once a day.
Z has been coughing for over a month now as well, first time the doctor said he had a touch of bronchitis, and this time around the doctor said his lungs sound inflamed. He’s on two inhalers also, one 4 x a day, and the second one I give to him once a day.
Em has had a bit of a cough for over a month now too. Every time I’ve brought her into the doctor he’s told me it’s just viral, and that I should just let it run it’s course. The last week, her cough has been getting increasingly worse, it sounds like a dry barking, her nose has been running a little bit as well. The doctor gave her an inhaler to be taken 4 x daily. She’s been even coughing in her sleep, the last couple of days she’s been falling asleep randomly, her breathing sounds more difficult.
I’m running out of ideas on things to do, I’ve never felt so hopeless, my kids have always been healthy so this is really hard.
