Today has been a big day so far, I had orientation for my new job this afternoon and I start my first shift tonight. PLUS it was Zaden’s first day alone at preschool. Last year we had enrolled Zaden in playschool, but after a couple of month I didn’t like the playschool environment, so we pulled him out in December. I’m really excited for him, and I know that he’ll have a blast. It’s an all French preschool , so he’ll be ready for kindergarten next year.
We speak french at home, but not as much as we should. So the preschool will play an important role in making sure there’s no language barrier, it also get’s him socializing with kids his own age. I got a very good vibe from his new teachers and he seems to like them a lot.When we went to go pick him up this afternoon, he had made a craft and he was super happy.
Awesome, it gives me one less thing to stress about tonight at work. I’m very hopeful that this is the beginning of something really good, for the both us. My job seems like something I’m going to enjoy, and it will get me out of the house kid-less meeting new people (even if it’s just the night-shift crew hah).
