This morning I woke up and I was craving something sweet. We don’t have popsicles in the house, and I didn’t want to go to the store; especially to buy sugar-filled popsicles. I still wanted something cold and tasty, and so I improvised. I made us some raspberry yogurt pops, all you really need is some yogurt in your favourite flavour and some popsicle molds. Pour the yogurt in the molds, then pop them in the freezer. Wait until it’s frozen then voila, you’ve got yourself a cold tasty yogurt pop. It’s the perfect thing for satisfying your sweet tooth, and it only requires one ingredient. So you can do it quickly on your way out in the morning, so that when you come home later that evening they’ll be ready to eat. The kids and I really like yogurt pops, and you are in control on how much sugar is in them. Personally I think it’s a really healthy substitute for store-bought popsicles, considering the store-bought ones are almost completely made of just sugar; and this is a healthier cheaper option as well. 🙂
What’s your favourite type of yogurt? Have you ever made yogurt pops before?
