It all started with Pinterest, I used to spend a lot of time sitting in front of my laptop browsing Pinterest…Okay let’s be honest I still browse Pinterest a lot, I just do it on the go on my IPhone. Welcome to the busy life of an adult and mother of three! Ha ha.
There is so many awesome things on Pinterest, everything from fashion to decor, to food, to DIY, etc. I myself probably have hundreds of pins on several boards that I’m dying to try out, but recently I pinned this thing called “Bacon Weave”. It’s pretty obvious it’s just bacon weaved, into enough rows to fit the size of your sandwich. Such a simple but brilliant idea, that I have not tried until now. It’s perfect timing on this one, I’ve been craving bacon all day. It must be a sign considering I found bacon in the freezer and tomatoes in the fridge. 😉 I told the kids we were going to be having BTS’s for supper, and they were so excited breakfast food for supper. (Who doesn’t love breakfast food?.)I took the bacon out and let it defrost. Around supper time I took the bacon, and began to weave it with just enough rows so it was the perfect size to fit a sandwich. I’m a little bummed out that it didn’t turn out better, turns out someone else got to bacon first and cut it shorter then I wanted. Next time I’ll try it with the full length of the bacon, but this was still delicious. I cooked it in the oven on a boil rack, at 350 for about half an hour (time varies). Are you on Pinterest? Do you like Pinterest? Have you tried something from Pinterest before?
