Yesterday for Easter my mom got me some Easter flowers (tulips), I took the picture above before they started to open. My gift to the kids for Easter was something simple, I got each of the kids a small book and a Easter card. The Easter bunny decided not to show up at our house until after supper time, while the kids were playing downstairs in the basement. He hid chocolates around the entire living room/front entrance of the house. In addition to the hidden chocolates he placed on the couch 3 colouring books, and 3 golden chocolate bunny’s one for each of the kids. This year was the first time Emilee was able to actually participate, I have a video of the kids doing their Easter egg hunt. Keera is such an amazing big sister, as she was finding chocolates she was making sure that Emilee and Zaden had just as much as she did. She would leave some chocolates hidden so that Zaden could find them. My favourite part of it all was how they all laughed and smiled the whole time. I love that my kids appreciate and enjoy simple things, they were completely over the moon with their gifts and the chocolates.Today we went to go pick up Keera at her bus stop, and the way back home we usually check the mail. Today on the way to the mail box, I got a glimpse of something that just melts my heart. Sometimes Keera and Zaden fight like cats and dogs, but it’s moments like this that you can see how much love they really have for each other.Do you celebrate Easter? Did you do anything exciting for Easter? What did your kids get for Easter? I would love to see some photos!
