Are you curious what happens when you let two six year old girls, and a 3 year old boy loose on your board games? Fear not you don’t need to experience it first hand, I already have. This is what it ends up looking like when you give them free range of everything, yes they were supervised but I wasn’t hovering like I usually do. *Ahem* I’m looking pretty embarrassed right now, but the top of the gaming cabinet is actually MY fault.I didn’t get pictures of all the board games that I had to individually go through and reorganize/find the missing pieces which was all the games we own. It did take me a couple of hours to do, way longer then I’m willing to actually admit to. During the process I discovered, that we own TWO Candy Land games. I know for a fact that I didn’t purchase either of them (Thank-you for the games whomever purchased it for us). I’m going to take one and reuse it for a learning game that I found on Pintrest. Tweaking here and there, so that it suits our family and the kids learning needs..obviously. This is what it ended up looking like afterwards, and I’m pretty proud of myself. The blue basket that I left there on top of the cabinet is for all the donations item. They stack up quickly being the fact that we have 3 kids and all that ha ha. Now all that’s missing is hardwood floors! (Which as a renter, I will NOT be doing.) If you haven’t already noticed I will point out the unpainted part of the cabinet… It was built the wrong way, and it drives me nuts knowing I can’t change it. If you take the cabinet apart it won’t go back together again the proper way. So for now this is the temporary home of my board games, and the playing cards.Have you done any big organization in your home lately? Do you plan on doing any organization in any areas of your home? I’d love to see some pictures!
