I’m not usually a morning person, I wake up between 6:30-6:40am to get Keera ready for school. The morning goes a bit like this, I wake up Keera and she tells me she’s tired, after much negotiation she finally gets up. Usually she’s grumpy (I can’t say that I blame her.) She gets dressed you guessed it turtle speed, then puts on her deodorant. Then we proceed to the washroom, she does her thing then brushes her teeth. On days when I’m not being a lazy mom I brush her hair and put it in a pony tail. Viola! Off down the stairs to the kitchen, Em goes in her jolly jumper while I make Keera a bowl of cereal and I make her lunch for school.
Zaden doesn’t usually grace us with his presence until Keera’s about halfway done her breakfast, so I get him his bowl of cereal. Then once Keera’s gone out the door off to school Zaden, Emilee and I usually eat breakfast then head back to bed for a little while.
This morning that played out the same as every other day, except today Zaden didn’t wake up for breakfast. Since Emilee and I had already eaten our breakfast I thought I’d grasp a rare opportunity and take some pictures of the sun rising (okay…that didn’t quite happen.) I got some beautiful shots of the sky though at 8:07am.
It’s amazing how beautiful the sky is in the morning, and it’s stuff like this that makes mornings just a little bit easier.
