Zaden went to his grandpa’s house after playschool today, and he’s gone for the night. So we decided we couldn’t just waste our boy-free night at home, and since it’s Wednesday we thought we’d get a little wild LOL. We wanted something sweet and cold as a treat, so we headed out to Marble Slab for some hard ice-cream. It’s the best ice-cream place because you can add unlimited toppings to your ice-cream. 🙂
Keera got some strawberry ice-cream mixed with gummy bears, in her usual sprinkled ice cream cone. The last time we got Emilee a cone she couldn’t finish it, and now because of her nut allergies I figured it would be better to just get her a small cup. She got cotton candy ice-cream, and in the future I think we’ll just stick to strawberry yogurt for her or something with a more natural coloring.
Too much information warning:
{Bright blue ice-cream is not something you want to be giving your child that’s still in diapers lol…yuck}
My mom got a chocolate ice-cream with Skor, Rolo and peanuts, in a dark chocolate peanut cone. I got my usual Chocolate Swiss ice-cream with peanuts, and raspberries as the toppings; I also got it in a dark chocolate peanut ice-cream cone.I’m always afraid to try something new, because I’m afraid I won’t like it. There’s also the cheap factor, I don’t want to pay for something that I won’t like. So most of the time when I’m trying out new things, it’s because others (family and friends) got something different and they offer me a taste haha. That’s definitely something I want to try to work on in the future, being more outgoing with my taste buds. I know there are so many wonderful foods out there to try, I just need to be more open to trying them out. The worst thing that can happen is I end up not liking something, but on a positive note I could end up liking something new; after all my favorite foods at one point were things I hadn’t tried.What something fun you do when one or all of your kid(s) are gone for the night? What’s your favorite ice-cream flavor and why?
