So today was pretty awesome, my dad came down for a visit and we got to ride in his motorcycle sidecar. I’ve been on a motorcycle only once in my life it was scary but liberating, I’ve just never been in a sidecar before. Today I got the chance to go in a sidecar for the first time, it was exciting and heart racing in a good way. I’m glad that I got to experience it. Keera and Zaden have never been on a motorcycle or in a sidecar ever, and the idea of them being on one honestly kind of freaked me out until today. It was easier to be okay with it because I trust my dad’s driving ability on his motorcycle, he rides responsibly and the huge helmet definitely helped to calm my nerves. At first the kids were nervous about giving it a try, but after a few short minutes of convincing they were super excited to give it a go. They each got a turn and when it came time to get out they didn’t want to get out and they wouldn’t stop talking about it. After everyone got a turn to ride in the sidecar, and we did a little bit more visiting with my dad he left. The kids and I decided that we would make some homemade pizzas for supper, it’s a favourite in our house. I love making homemade pizzas with the kids, it’s so much more fresh and tasty then the store bought kind or the kind you order. I enjoy getting to see the creative side of each of the kids as they choose their own toppings for their pizza, and how they place it on the tortilla shell. Their personalities and tastes have changed so much in the last year and it’s incredible to see the changes. When we finished eating supper, I cut up some fresh watermelon for dessert, I believe that fresh watermelon is one of the best desserts out there, besides cake of course!
Motorcycle fun.
Have you ever been on a motorcycle? Have your kids ever been on one?
