Come in, have a seat, and browse around.
Bonjour/Hello/Hi my name is Erika. I’m a 34-year-old obsessive perfectionist, stuck in the body of an exhausted mom. I’m lucky enough to get called mom by four human children. Our house is also filled with doggo love, we’ve got two half-sibling doodles a Bernedoodle & Sheepadoodle. My human and fur children are the sunshine in my life with occasionally heavy rain.
When I’m not being a wannabe super mom, I wear many different hats. Entrepreneur, wellness mentor, lifestyle blogger, homeschooling mama, Tower Garden grower, ouchie kisser, kiddo snuggler, Tupperware lover, dog mom, avid reader and hopefully one-day ranch owner and published author of a book or books.
Mom-life, Real-life.
An ambition of mine is to have a clean, and organized house. Spotless counters are something I dream of, but fatigue and mom life often cause me to cave to the life of chaos. Our house isn’t spotless, but it’s not dirty. The walls are covered in charts, whiteboards, vision boards, and seasonal decor which makes me happy. Maybe spotless counters are overrated, I’d rather our kids make memories.
What keeps me calm and going.
I live off sarcasm, humour, charts, lists, reading, taking pictures and making budgets. I actually love hanging out with my kids and playing board games. Travelling as a family and trying new foods brings me joy.
I’ve got an overflowing mind of creativity, but I find it hard to bring my ideas to life.
When did I start blogging?
My blogging journey started in 2013 when I was 4 months pregnant with my 3rd child. Journalling has always been a big part of my life, putting pen to paper and being able to write what I’m thinking and feeling. Although if I’m being honest bringing my thoughts and feelings to the digital world hits differently. When I write here I’m able to reach people, people I wouldn’t necessarily be able to connect with. I’ll always have a love for writing in a fresh notebook, and I’ll continue to do that but I love the little connections I’ve made digitally.
Here’s a quote that inspires me
“What you do today, can improve all your tomorrows.”
